Living in a society where every place you turn is something cooking ready to eat, it seems harder to fast and wait on the Lord. In the Bible we read of individuals who fasted forty days, three days and lots of places where fasting was declared and breakthrough became eminent. This is because God honors sacrifice of which fasting is one of them. Jesus told the disciples, “Many things can not be done by prayers alone but by through fasting and prayer. Are you in a cross road today and nothing seem to be going on well? Are you tired of being tired of your situation, fast and pray. God is able to turn your situation around. Don’t give up until you get your answer. Believe in the God of all creatures and has you fast, know that God is able to grant you victory like He did for Esther; Daniel, Moses, Christy; and many others. For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37).
